Without an umpire, there is no game.

Palm Beach Netball Club has a very strong belief in using all available resources, training materials and support that we can give to our umpires at all levels. Watching umpires grow in confidence and progress through the divisions is a wonderful credit to our Umpire Coaching Team.

If you are interested in umpiring, whether you are just beginning, or interested in regaining your passion for it, please contact us, as we are always looking for more amazing people to join our team.

Doing the basic umpires course can enhance your knowledge of this wonderful game and help you to better understand the rules, even if you are not interested in becoming an umpire.

The Section 1 Theory Exam tests the basic rules of the game, it is needed in order to start umpiring with PBNC and HDNA. For more information on this exam please click here.

The club is always looking to expand our Umpire Coaching Team, if you have any previous experience in coaching umpires or umpiring in general, please contact us for further information.

Also this season Palm Beach Netball Club would like to encourage all representative and 12 year old players to sit the Basic Online Umpires exam as above. We would love to see these learner umpires gain confidence by umpiring 8 & 9 years Net Set Go games. Please contact our Umpire Convenor to find out more.
